Perfect moments caught in a photo. Alaskan sunsets throwing themselves across mountains that are too vast for those sultry colors to touch them all. Sled dogs playing games with a winters worth of toned muscle; allowing their fun to span across large stretches of earth gobbled up by hungry paws. That very earth that is quickly thawing and bringing both the melancholy of our favorite season changing but also a celebration of spring and new life filling the air. So, to celebrate all of this, a sweet team of 8 of my canine kids and I ran away to the White Mountains for a night. Some concentrated time with each other and our beautiful Alaska. I wish this wasn't nearing the end of our season, but the time we spend away from our winter will only keep us ready for her icy fingers to once again crawl across our hearts and bring us home again.
